I wrote this last fall when we were moving.
I love walking through the empty rooms of this house that we built and lived in for over 8 years.
I’ve given birth to two babies in this house. I’ve learned to parent my six children in this house. I’ve learned to feed my family healthy food in this house. I’ve learned how to home school. I’ve learned to live with less. I’ve learned to live by my own convictions. I’ve learned to be open to the truth. I’ve leaned to let go of the past.
I love the emptiness. I love how clean it is. I love the echoing of our footsteps.
I love seeing our packed bags lined up at the door.
I love giving in to the possibilities of the future.
The beautiful emptiness.
It’s time to go.
